Disable reporting engine to improve performance

Affects version(s):
5.x
4.2.x

Extracting data from access logs to provide usage statistics is quite expensive in terms of performance. Disabling those processes on a slow machine should give you a reasonable performance boost.

  1. Turn off the periodic generation of data for Log & Report - Reports.
    5.x:
    # vi /etc/cron.d/airlock-reports Comment all lines by adding a # at the start of each line. Save your changes with the command :wq!

    4.2.x:
    # crontab -eComment all lines containing /opt/slt/ses/analog/analog.sh by adding a # at the start of each line. Save your changes with the vi command :wq!

  2. Turn off the periodic generation of data for Log & Report - Log Viewer - Use advanced search - Layout (everything below ---GRAPH---).
    5.x:
    # vi /etc/cron.d/taclog-proxyComment all lines containing genrrd by adding a # at the start of each line. Save your changes with the command :wq!

    4.2.x:
    # crontab -e secopComment all lines containing /usr/local/loghost/proxy/rrd/bin/genrrdp by adding a # at the start of each line. Save your changes with the vi command :wq!
