This article describes how to change log rotation and archiving parameters for certain system files. See article How to change Log Viewer data rotation and archiving to alter the behavior of rotating and archiving logs controlled by the Log Viewer.
How it works
Every night logrotate is called by a cronjob. This will rotate log files as configured in various files in /etc/logrotate.d/.
For more information about logrotate and its options watch the online manual man logrotate.
