Upcoming: Airlock Releases 4.2.6.3 and 5.1, Airlock Operations App for Splunk

Wir möchten Sie gerne über die folgenden bevorstehenden Airlock Releases informieren:

Airlock 4.2.6.3

Dieses Update bringt einige Bugfixes und Stabilitätsverbesserungen. Ebenfalls wird die Apache Version des Weblisteners aktualisiert, was die Verwendung von Forward Secrecy basierend auf elliptischen Kurven ermöglicht. Somit können mit Airlock 4.2.6.3 fortan dieselben SSL Ciphersuites wie mit Airlock 5.0 verwendet werden. Der Release von Airlock 4.2.6.3 ist für Anfang Juni 2014 geplant.

Airlock 5.1

Der nächste Release von Airlock 5 fokussiert auf Sicherheits- und Flexibilitätsverbesserungen. Airlock 5.1 bringt ein neues Framework für die einfache Manipulation von HTTP Headern mit. Ebenfalls werden standardmässig diverse sicherheitsrelevante Header automatisch gesetzt. Die Deny Rules werden mit Airlock 5.1 komplett überarbeitet und flexibilisiert. Neu werden die Deny Rules in Gruppen organisiert und bieten verschiedene Filterstärken, die mit einem einzigen Klick angepasst werden können. Damit False-Positives einfacher behandelt werden können, lassen sich Exceptions flexibler definieren und mehrere Exceptions können kombiniert werden. Der Artikel "Announcing Airlock 5.1" (in Englisch) gibt einen detaillierten Überblick über die neuen Features. Der Release von Airlock 5.1 ist im Q3 2014 geplant.

Airlock Operations App für Splunk

In Kürze werden wir die Airlock Operations App für Splunk veröffentlichen. Die Airlock Operations App kennt sämtlich Airlock Log Meldungen und bietet vorgefertigte Reports für die tägliche Arbeit mit Airlock. Mit den Airlock-spezifischen Felddefinitionen lassen sich schnell eigene Suchanfragen und Reports erstellen. Der Release der Airlock Operations App ist für Juli 2014 geplant.

We'd like to inform you about the following upcoming Airlock releases:

Airlock 4.2.6.3

This update brings several bugfixes and stability improvements. In addition, the apache version of the weblistener component is updated, which allows using Forward Secrecy based on elliptic curves. Hence, with Airlock 4.2.6.3, the same SSL ciphersuites as with Airlock 5.0 can be used. The release of Airlock 4.2.6.3 is planned for early June 2014.

Airlock 5.1

The upcoming version 5.1 focuses on security and flexibility improvements. Airlock 5.1 comes with a new framework for manipulating HTTP headers in an easy way. Furthermore, several HTTP security headers are defined by default. Deny rules are completely revised and extended. Starting with Airlock 5.1, deny rules are organized in groups and come with several filter strengths that can be adapted by a single click. Handling false positives becomes easier thanks to the more flexible deny rule exceptions, allowing exceptions on arbitrary fields and combination of multiple exceptions. Please refer to the techzone article "Announcing Airlock 5.1" for an overview of the new features. The release of Airlock 5.1 is planned for Q3 2014.

Airlock Operations App for Splunk

Soon, the Airlock Operations App for Splunk will be released. The Airlock Operations App knows all details of Airlock log messages and comes with ready-to-use reports for common Airlock use cases. Using predefined field definitions that map to Airlock log messages, custom search queries and reports can easily be created. The release of the Airlock Operations App is planned for July 2014.
