Airlock WAF
Additional software components on Airlock Gateway should only be installed as RPM. To prevent clashes with other installed packages and keep track of new components there is a custom yum repository where the new RPMs must be placed and indexed before installation.
Be aware that there might be software that conflict with Airlock's own components.
Do never install new components without testing it first on a pre-production Airlock Gateway.
If you are unsure about installing a new package please open a CASE in the Airlock Online Ticketing.
Please execute the following steps to install a new package:
- Copy the RPM to /var/airlock/repositories/airlock-custom/Packages/ using scp
- Open a secure shell to Airlock, login as user root and perform the following steps:
# airlock-custom-repo --update
# /usr/bin/yum -y install <Package-Name>
